    Javier Téllez

Born in Venezuela in 1969, Javier Téllez lives in New York where he is developing a contemplation of situations of marginality and forms of stigmatisation. His artwork addresses the question of normalcy and pathology. Easily mixing documentary excerpts with fictional sequences his films weave a new framework where all those concerned, all those called on to assist, find a new locus of expression and, in this way, a new form of appropriate representation.

Since 1994, he has exposed his work in France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, New Zealand, the USA, Mexico, Venezuela, Canada and Australia.
